Cursed, My Diet Diary


So much has changed in just a few days. You all might be wondering why the title, well unfortunately my doctor put me on a strict diet to loose around 20 to take away extra weight that is putting pressure on my back - specifically on a small, almost unnoticeable disk bulge.

Right now I am basically starving; being used to the occasional (more than 2-3 times a day) snacks with lots of sugar between meals now I'm limited on amount of snacks (2 per day) and they can only be a glass of juice and some crackers or a small portion of veggies. Oh, and all my meals are planned out! I have a little table that states what I have to eat in every meal for the next month! And believe me, all meals except breakfast include salads. I love salads, but couldn't they add more variety to my life?! Perhaps some pastas and ice cream?

I'll update on how much weight I've lost as soon as I get a scale or something!

In honor of all those sweet times of munching all I could, I post some pics of famous models having the time of their lives munching what I cannot! =D

  2. oh no!!!!!!! poor you!!!! best time to start a diet is in the summer, because its hot you dont feel like eating so much? if your desperate for a sugar hit make up some jelly (wobble jelly, not jam) and eat that...it gives you a sugar hit but there is like no fat in it, and hardly any cals. good luck x

  3. Oh my! It's one thing to diet if you want to, another if the doctor tells you too!! But it's for your health - you only have one back after all.

  5. Oh man, I hate diets... I'm starting an apple cider vinegar diet, which I posted about in my blog, but you look pretty healthy sized. I think it only works for fat people like me. lol! Anyway, good luck!

  8. I recommend you eat more fruit. juice has calories and whole fruit will fill you up... slow cook brown rice for healthy carb... good luck

  10. Salad omelets are delicious! Ditto the "Salad Stack", buckwheat pancakes layered with cole slaw (light mayo, natch) and topped with sugar-free maple syrup. You can always go with the old diet standby, a bowl of 1/2 Special K and 1/2 arugula. Don't forget the Classic Caesar Smoothie!

    There ya go...some yummy salad breakfast ideas.

  11. Good luck! I too need to drop some weight, but I'm too invested in some snacks to say goodbye to them. I both love and hate Heidi Klum because she makes the rest of the world of normal moms look bad!
