Daydreams under the Rising Sun

In the cherry blossom's shade

Images of Spring in Japan have been occupying my mind lately, the heat has finally made me wish Summer was over. I've always been fascinated by how beautiful Cherry Blossoms look when blooming, and the feeling of majesty they project. Also, Japanese traditional clothes have always drawn my attention, I want a kimono so badly!

  3. Pretty pictures! I love the traditional Japanese style, but reinvented in a modern way, like sleeveless kimono tops, and the likes.

  4. I love cherry blossoms, too. They're a wonderful design inspiration. :) Thanks for posting these gorgeous pics! It's funny, but I was feeling the Japanese aesthetic today... I'm wearing this pink and gray shirt with katakana symbols and almost rented "The Ramen Girl" simply because it takes place in Tokyo. ^.^ Oh, and thank you for your sweet comment on my outfit. I hate to disappoint you, but the weather around here has been awful! Summer is usually lovely, humid but with nice ocean breezes, but this year summer skipped right to autumn. I love fall and all, but I can literally count on one hand how many nice, sunny days we've had since May! Not great for outdoor photography, to say the least! :(

  19. Spring is Japan is magical...although I only got to experience it once. When the cherry blossoms fall like snow you don't even feel like you're on Earth.
