Please Don't Touch, You'll Break Me...

Obsessed; wanting all all at once, and feeling a tad gloomy. From a time forward I have been very uneasy; as if some secret code were stuck in my mind and I'm trying hard to decipher it. I suddenly feel the imminent need to fly away and hide, to be introspective about all that is around me, to just be stared at and not touched or spoken to.

I know all this might sound a tad weird, but I feel I am slowly breaking under pressure...

Haven't you all ever found one song that just expresses all you feel? Right now, I must say Please Don't Touch by British singer Polly Scattergood is that one song that sings my heart out; plus the clothes she wears are adorable!

I promise I'll come back with a more cheery post next time and I'll show you all some of my Black Friday purchases. (Yes, I kinda went shopping to cheer me up - please don't judge me I'm only a girl, lol)

What's the song that best describes you right now?

  1. You definitely need the retail therapy. Hope everything will be okay soon. Just a little advice from this old hag: "Channel your thoughts to things that makes you happy. Always keep this in mind, there is always sunshine after the rains." Hugs!

  3. Cute video! Thanks for posting it. I haven't heard this artist before... she kind of reminds me of Kate Nash and that singer from the Ting Tings. In a good way. :D Her outfits are definitely adorable.

And I know exactly how you feel... I'm so there right now. No need to feel guilty about a little retail therapy! I recently drowned my sorrow in shoes... ^_^

I like your post and the video. I hope the retail therapy is good 4 you:)

  9. I just had gotten over a very difficult crisis. For two weeks I was completely broken. Nobody noticed nobody knew but my boyfriend. The anger, the hate, and the curse that I was very ready to express was almost breaking me down. But then it turned out to be God's calling. It reminded me that after all of my pursue for earthly gains, I was starting to drift away. It was then that i poured everything to Him, in the church, sitted at the back pew, nobody noticed my tears, I was tired, but I tell you what? After i surrendered everything to Him, I started to relax, I started to appreciate things that I ought to be thankful for. Right, now I'm happy again.

Just pray and have faith girl, you'll be okay. hugs ;)

  25. I can definitely relate to being in such a black, isolated mood... All I can say is keep doing everything in the world that makes you happy (including retail therapy) so it passes as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the comment the other day and feel better! x

  29. Your posts are beautiful. I guess even the things that make us sad can be poetic as well. I find that the best remedies are curling up in bed with our favourite tv show and a bowl of jello : )

Come by for a visit if you'd like, hope things start looking up soon!

ps. kudos to you for being an independent designer! that's actually very impressive.
