Under the People Tree

Emma Watson is out to steal our fashion hearts! Her new line, People Tree, is an incredible collection of sweet, comfy garments made with eco-friendly, organic materials.

I think I've said in other posts that I absolutely hate stars designing without setting foot in a design school, but for some reason Emma is an exception to me. She has proven to have an exquisite taste for style. What do you think??

  3. It's simple& nice, not wow nor exceptional. Seems like every other celebrity, just wants to place their name next to a label....but just any kind of label, never thought thru. I do LOVE the Kardashian's collection that they did collaborations with Bebe's....its very chic.

  5. to be honest, i used to be repulsed by her (only coz she knew daniel radcliffe, and i want him haha) but i'm so impressed by her. she never looks trashy, which i must say, is a mean feat if you look at other teen stars *coughmileycyrus*
this collection is pretty damn cute!

  6. It looks nice and simple. I don´t think they design. I think they just give the OKs or point of view- Designing won´t be compatible with their lives. It is too much work.

  9. I had no idea she was doing a line but the clothes are really nice and seem very confortable!
Well, it depends on thei involvence. When it's just like: "well maybe we could do this" and someone make it with the name of the celebrity, i don't think is is cool (not talking about the quality or style taste, here). I like when they know a little bit more of it, even they haven't studied, and I like them to draw the things and put them well together, even though they can't sew them. When they just say "hey I would like a shirt with a quote like X", I don't like it...

  15. Normally celebrity lines really irritate me too, but I've always LOVED Emma, so I'm thrilled for her line! :D She's got such amazing taste, so I think a fashion line seems a logical choice for her. And she did a pretty good job, there are some nice pieces in there that I'd definitely wear!

  16. I love this line. It's sweet and looks comfy and age-appropriate. So if celebrities want to foray into the "design" realm, I think they should stick with projects that actually reflect their personalities... or what we know of them. Anyway, I think this People Tree line really reflects Emma Watson; classic yet contemporary, comfortable yet chic. :)
