Insomnia...

It's 4:42am and I've been up for over an hour already. I don't think I've ever slept so little in my whole lifetime...
Got that test later in the day and though I have studied like mad; I'm still anxious about it -I think I've never felt like this before, not even in engineering school!
I'm just writing away since there really isn't anything else to get done at this time in the morning...

PS: I really should get to more interesting posts, I'm sorry I'm boring you guys out lately. =)

Hidden in my Books

I'm someplace lost within music theory books and pencils, high-lighter markers and pens; oh! and my music notebook.

Major test tomorrow and I must admit I'm a tad scared. It's a new professor I've never taken class with before and I have no idea how cruel he can be in tests -*me trembling in a corner*.

The Birthday Wishlish...

Today at 7:35pm I officially turn 24 yrs old.
I truly don't want anything wow this year; don't really feel like celebrating (tho I know I should but I'm kinda too tired and just want to relax and read maybe), I just have a few wishes. Little wishes that I hope may come true in the following year; that would definitely put a smile on my face.
Waiting around for one of my friends to get out of class I started to write my wishlist. Never really written one before, I'm not the kind to ask for stuff but I thought it might be fun to enumerate those little things I see giving to myself.

D&G Spring 2011

Milan's Fashion Week's finally kicked off! I'm ADORING D&G's spring collection. The pastel colors and the floral prints are just driving me insane; can it be spring again soon???

I dream too much...

I'm convinced that I dream too much. I'm not sure if that's a positive thing or if it's a weak spot. I don't know if I'll ever make it, or if I'll make it farther than what I dream of; however I am certain that I dream too much.

Olive Green & Purple don't match

I'm still not convinced that olive green and purple match, but hey, it could be me...

I assisted this indie designer and vintage bazaar yesterday and I was mostly intrigued by the lack of light in the place, the areas were quite dark and the only light that seeped through peeked in through a nearby window to my booth. I thought the view was sweet so just had to take a pic of it, and the chair was equally as intriguing; sad it was made out of leather.

Musical Mondays: Lenka

Who is she? Lenka is an Australian singer and songwriter.
What's her Style like? She's super girly and really vintage; sometimes her clothes make you think you're watching a really old film or something of the sort.
What does she sound like? She has this Lily Allen feel gone sweet. Her music is super soft and her lyrics have this childish feeling; like the type of feeling you get when going down to a playground and you swing on the swings after so many years. Her voice is equally as soothing.

Last Days of Summer...

These pics are actually ultra old; if I'm not mistaken they are from my first visit to the beach in my site location trip for the shop's photoshoot. My sis tagged along and as you can see the place is lovely and super warm and it just has the most marvelous view, if you like the wide, open sea right there under your nose that is.

I really wasn't wearing anything flashy and it's one of the only times I wear skirts that short and tight/legging-less (I'm more of a knee high and crazy tights kinda girl). An outfit post really wasn't in question but after finding these pics - yeah, I totally forgot about them - I decided to post them up. =D

Jason Wu Spring 2011

Yes, I know Fall is just approaching and I'm already blogging Spring but, I just couldn't help not sharing Jason Wu's new designs. I do have this colorless streak going on however I do miss last spring's and summer's warm and quirky colors.
Jason's designs are just so soft and delicate and uber girly -and I'm loving the glasses.

Loving any designers?

Musical Mondays: Florence & the Machine

Florence + the Machine
Who are they?: More like, who is she? Florence is just a London girl with an incredible need to touch people's hearts with her music + a collab of a group of like 7 other musicians backing her up.
What's the Style like?: She herself states that she adores secondhand shopping and most of the outfits for her shows she gets that same day at thrift stores and such. And she has the coolest hair color.
What does she sound like?: I'd say a little rock -totally indie that is- and really heartfelt lyrics. Her voice is just definitely something different and unconventional, it kinda reminds me of a rare bird singing - but it sounds cool.

Summer days are gone...

Summer had once been around the grassy pastures that are now covered with some opaque leaves of autumn and the sunlight's dimmer and cooler...
I'm getting ready to layer more than what we usually did this summer and bringing those rainboots out for a spin.
Fall is almost at our doors.
